MORGANTOWN — Lydia Adrian tallied a team-high nine points for the defending state champion Mohigans (5-3).
Alyssa Neal added eight points for MHS, which held Spring Mills to two points in the second quarter en route to a 24-11 halftime lead.
MHS shot 44 percent (18 of 41) from the field and outrebounded its opponent, 33-14. Fallon Nicholson led with eight boards.
Morgantown (5-3) next plays on Jan. 5, at Wheeling Park.
Sydnei Taylor topped Spring Mills by scoring nine points.
