PARKERSBURG — Nicky Solomon collected team-highs of 19 points, six rebounds and four steals Jan. 18 to lead Morgantown High to a 60-51 boys’ basketball victory over Parkersburg South.
Jayron Wilson added 14 points, four rebounds and four steals for the Mohigans (9-2), who pulled away with a 14-7 surge in the fourth quarter. MHS forced 20 turnovers by the Patriots (7-4) while committing just six.
That helped to overcome a 24-point effort by Parkersburg South’s Bobby Foggin. Shane Snider chipped in with 10.
Morgantown next visits Martinsburg, on Jan. 21.
