Jason White enters his 4th year as the Morgantown High head basketball coach.  In 3 seasons, Coach White has led the Mohigans to a 69-10 record including a 26-1 2016 campaign. The 2016 WV AAA State Championship was the third consecutive title and ninth in school history.  The Mohigans have also won Back to Back AAAAA OVAC Championships.

Five of White's student/athletes have gone on to play college basketball.  

Prior to Morgantown, White was the freshmen boys coach at Morgantown for five seasons (2008-2013), one season as the Boys JV coach at Preston High (2006-2007), and three seasons as a volunteer assistant at his alma mater Ravenswood where White was part of the coaching staff for the schools first Boys Basketball State Championship in 2006. 

Coach White is a Jackson County native where he played basketball and football at Ravenswood High School.  He would later graduate from Marshall University with a Bachelors degree in Secondary Science Education and obtain a Masters degree from WVU in Sports Management.    

Coach White currently lives in Morgantown with his wife, Stephanie, and daughter Aubrey (2).  White currently teaches seventh grade science at South Middle School in Morgantown.
